Handovers
What is handover?
Our handover service provides a safe and neutral environment to support smooth transitions between parents or carers when direct contact is difficult or not appropriate. It allows children to be dropped off and collected without parents needing to meet, helping to minimise conflict, stress, and anxiety. Our priority is the child’s wellbeing, ensuring each handover is managed calmly, respectfully, and with care.
How does a handover work?
Our handover service works by providing a neutral space where children can be safely dropped off and collected ensuring that both the child and parents feel secure and supported. Parents do not need to meet each other, and the process is structured to be calm, consistent, and predictable, helping children feel reassured while reducing potential conflict between adults.
