National Child Contact Centre Week 2026: Putting Children First

At the heart of every child contact centre is a simple belief: children matter.
 
As we mark National Child Contact Centre Week 2026, we join the National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC) and a range of NACCC-accredited centres across the UK in celebrating this year's theme, "Putting Children First." The campaign highlights the importance of listening to children, understanding their experiences and supporting their emotional wellbeing during times of family change.
 
For The Vine in Leeds, this reflects our central values of showing compassion, nurturing relationships and ensuring that the needs of the most vulnerable are never overlooked. By creating safe, welcoming spaces where children can maintain important family connections, Family Time Centres help provide reassurance, stability and hope.
 
Throughout the week, we shared stories, videos and quotes on our Facebook page that showcase the positive difference child-centred family time can make for children and young people.
 
As this is the second year of the National Child Contact Centre Week, we were proud to support the campaign's mission of raising awareness, building understanding and celebrating the vital work of Centres across the UK.
